Welcome to BristleForge — a community site for miniature painters. Whether you're blending highlights on a centrepiece model, basing an entire regiment, or just getting started with a starter set, you're in the right place.
What BristleForge is for
There are three things you can do here:
Painting recipes — step-by-step breakdowns of how a model was painted. Paints used, the order they went on, the techniques involved. The kind of notes you wish someone had written down and shared with you.
Gallery showcases — collections of finished (or work-in-progress) models. Each gallery has a full image lightbox so the detail actually shows up. Upload your best work and let people see what you've been up to.
Hobby posts — everything else. Army reveals, painting challenges, hobby updates, tips and tricks, and the occasional rambling about why you own 400 unpainted models.
How to get involved
For now the site is invite-only while things get settled. If you'd like to post your own recipes or galleries, hit Request access on the relevant page and I'll get you set up.
BristleForge was built by Richy (@richyp) — the same person behind richyp.com and many models painted in a frenzy. Expect the occasional Old World Goblin, Dwarf of Chaos gribbly, a 40k Space Wolf, or (coughs) even an Aeldari to make an appearance.
